La National Book Foundation a dévoilé les dernières sélections concourant, dans chaque catégorie, « Fiction », « Non Fiction », « Jeunesse » et « Poésie », pour remporter un National Book Award 2014. Les prestigieux prix littéraires américains seront dévoilés le 19 novembre au cours d’un dîner de gala à New York. Les finalistes participeront à une lecture, la veille, le 18 novembre,  et seront invités à la Foire internationale du livre de Miami (Floride), du 21 au 23 novembre.

La dernière sélection «  Fiction » comprend : An Unnecessary Woman de Rabih Alameddine (Grove Press) ; All the Light We Cannot See d’Anthony Doerr (Albin Michel, Scribner/ Simon & Schuster) ; Redeployment de Phil Klay (The Penguin Press) ; Station Eleven d’Emily St. John Mandel (Alfred A.
